Before BAD Marketing
This client came to us in June doing just shy of $30k per month in the supplement niche on Amazon and had been selling for about 1.5 years.
- The client was working with a different marketing agency before us. This agency used a set-and-forget approach, rather than an active hands-on growth strategy.
- Their ACOS was 85% (1.15 ROAS) so they were losing money on each order and didn’t have a solid base to scale their PPC
- Their listings were visually appealing, but not optimized for conversions.
- They were not using an organic ranking strategy, so most of their orders were coming from PPC and branded search. They weren’t acquiring hardly any new-to-brand customers!
The First Steps
We onboarded them and launched during the first week of July, and got to work right away with implementing our PPC optimization framework. We started new ads campaigns under our scaling structure with easily trackable naming conventions and a full funnel approach that would bring new-to-brand customers into their ecosystem.
This cleaned up the account so we knew exactly what search terms we were spending and could control the budgets accordingly. After their first month with 4Media, we closed out July with $18,406 revenue from ads and a 71% ACOS. This was more than double what they made from ads in June at $8,033

After only 5 months we grew their revenue from ads from an unprofitable $8k to a very profitable $112k in revenue. That’s a 1,300% increase in revenue, while increasing profitability also!

Listing Optimization
- Most clients come to us with no clear organization or focus on their listings
- Everything looks visually pleasing, but when you pull back the covers the listing is poorly optimized and confusing to customers. Since Amazon is a comparison shopping platform, if you do not capture the customer’s attention by your 3rd image they will click away and go purchase from a competitor listing

Organic Ranking Strategy
In the third and final step we send targeted traffic to the listings that search for specific keywords then interact with your listings in an organic way and eventually purchase your product.
one keyword the listing went from ranked position #212 to a top position of #1 when searched for in less than a month. For the other keyword the listing went from ranked #169 to position #3. This is only examples of 2 keywords, but the results were the same across over 20 different keywords for this specific listing. This absolutely exploded the organic reach and traffic to the listing and the following sales mirror that.
